An
introduction to everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment
including background theory resulting in the ability to drive under
supervision. |

course includes mooring, anchoring and recovery plus all the boat driving
skills required for basic competence in a powerboat. |

Safety

A
two-day course for those who use powerboats to provide safety cover for
other watersports such as cadet sailing. It includes rescue techniques and
elements of race management and mark laying. |

| Powerboat Instructor Course |

The
practical training for the RYA Powerboat courses is done in the RCIYC RIBs. |
